Firmware (thesada-fw)

The firmware source code is licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPL-3.0-only).

You may copy, distribute, and modify the firmware under the terms of the GPL. Any distributed modifications must also be released under the GPL.

Web App (thesada-app)

The companion web application is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0-only).

The app is AGPL rather than plain GPL because it is run as a network service. AGPL section 13 obligates network operators to offer the corresponding source to users who interact with the running service.

All text and images on this documentation site are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).

You may share and adapt the material with appropriate credit, but you may not use it for commercial purposes. Any adaptations must be shared under the same license.

Hardware (future)

Hardware designs (schematics, PCB layouts) will be released under the CERN Open Hardware License v2 - Permissive (CERN-OHL-P-2.0) when published.
